USA Team Become the First Americans to Win Medals in Wushu and Sanda

Congratulations to the USA team that traveled to the Summer Universiade games in Taiwan! Emily Fan became the first American to win a medal in wushu, receiving a bronze for her excellent performances with spear and straight sword. Isiah Ray Enriquez also won a bronze, in the 52-kilogram men’s category of sanda, becoming the first American to medal on the international level.

Taipei 2017 Summer University Games

taiwan2017games_bannerSifu Bryant Fong will be leading a team of athletes to the 29th Summer University Olympic Games on August 24th, 2017. Donations are needed before April 1, 2016 to secure a place at the competition. Please contact Sifu Bryant Fong if you are interested in a sponsorship for Team USA.

Tryouts will be held at CMAT on March 12, 2016. Since this is a university-focused competition, athletes must be between the ages of 15-25, and either have been accepted to college or be in college by August 24, 2017.
