Sifu Fong is leading the American team to the Taiwan University Games in 2017, but donations are sorely needed. This will be the first time that tai chi or Chinese wushu will be officially part of an Olympic-related event, but they will not be able to participate if funds are not available.
The team of eight students will travel to Taipei in August, 2017 and compete in both forms and fighting. Funds of $15,000 are needed by the end of this year to support the team.
All donations are tax-deductible (501c3) and should be made out to the National Chinese Wushu Association of America. Checks may be mailed to the organization at the following address:
NCWAA
PO Box 210159
San Francisco, California 94121-0159
Donations of $1000 or more will receive a special gift from Sifu Bryant Fong! More details to follow. T-shirts for lower levels of donations will be available later this fall.
Thanks!
